Somalia and Egypt Sign Judicial Cooperation Memorandum

Mogadishu, Somalia – July 03, 2025

Today, the Cabinet of the Federal Republic of Somalia approved and signed the Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in Judicial and Judicial Spheres between the Somali Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Justice of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

H.E. Hassan Mo’alim Mahmoud, Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, expressed his sincere thanks to the Prime Minister and Members of the Cabinet for their support in endorsing this key memorandum, which reflects Somalia’s commitment to strengthening its justice system and international legal cooperation.

This agreement marks a new step in the legal partnership between Somalia and Egypt, paving the way for practical collaboration and institutional development in the justice sector.
